How should regional publishers be approached
« on: Today at 09:49:17 am »
Hello!
I recently discovered this site and began adding to my collection. Since I own a couple of Estonian versions of video games that aren't available here, I started adding them. But the question I have is, should I mark the publisher as the original publisher of the game, or the Estonian localiser and seller company? Most boxes still include the (c) for the original publisher, as well as the Estonian company Andrico.
Thanks!

There is a difference between a publisher and a distributor. Typically, distributors do not get put into the Publisher option but can be put into description.

It is not really easy to give a general answer, but an item entry is for that exact thing and should not be generic or use information from other versions. If you need help with a specific item, you can post about that specifically and maybe someone can give an answer.

I see, that does make sense. Thank you!
