SAROS - Returnal sequel, looks cool, I didn't love everything with the first game, but this looks solid.  Something about it almost makes it feel Doom-like with its aggressiveness and kinda hellish feeling tone to me, just mixed with a bullet hell shooter.  March 2026

I don't know if I'll ever get use to Microsoft promo's at a Sony event lol Microsoft Flight Sim 2024 coming to PS5 December.  Getting PSVR2 support.

Battlefield 6 campaign trailer.  I'm not the biggest fan of BF's campaigns, not since the Bad Company games, but hopefully this is decent.

Deus Ex Remastered, it's classic gameplay, but with a visual overhaul.  Feb 5, 2026.

Halloween: The Game.  Same studio as the Friday the 13th and Predator game.  September 2026.  Could be a spiritual successor to Friday the 13th I guess with a lot of similar ideas, though Friday the 13th was a better franchise for it.

Sonic Racing Crossworlds, Mega Man/Proto Man and Dr. Wily stage DLC.

Nioh 3.  Feb 6, 2026

Dynasty Warriors 3 Remake.  March 19, 2026.

Code Vein 2.  January 30th, 2026.

Final Fantasy: Tactics Remaster. Sep. 30th

Let it Die: Inferno.  PVPVE, roguelike, extraction melee action game.  December 3rd.

Chronoscript.  Think it's a roguelike sidescroller action game, crazy art style, almost hard to look at with its detail and sharpness lol Think it's something they need to fix.  2026 release.

Crimson Desert, March 19, 2026

Wolverine! Finally! It's been so long lol Super violent as hell, yes, this is full M-rated for sure.   Fall 2026.

Wolverine was the only notable thing for me here, but good to see we are only a year away.  I like that it's very much not just Spider-Man re-skinned, at least from the glimpses we got.

Wolverine is looking worth the wait! Wow! It might even be better than Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Earthblood!

I have no regrets about missing this. Not a single game I'm interested in.

For me, there wasn't anything shown besides Wolverine that couldn't have just been published as a daily YouTube video upload. With that said, Wolverine doesn't personally interest me at all.

Chronosplit: The Endless End
This sets itself apart with its art direction from other action-platformers, but art can only go so far.

Saros
While I haven't played Returnal, I'm mildly interested in it. However, Saros comes across as a bit boring. Also, that there is a dedicated game mechanic that not only auto-revives the player upon losing all health but also makes them stronger seems like a quite the handout.

Zero Parades: For Dead Spies
I imagine Zero Parades will probably will be a good game, but I can't support ZA/UM after all of the controversy surrounding them and the creators of Disco Elysium.

I'll also mention some other news from Tokyo Game Show. Well, news for one game in particular.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 + Dark Ties
I'm actually a little surprised Yakuza 3 is being remade since it will have been eight years since Yakuza Kiwami 2 released and only the first two entries were made in standard definition. And, really, I think the reason for feeling that way is because it didn't need to be remade. So, I suppose this means that remakes for the fourth and fifth series installments are inevitable. If I ever play this, it will be a long, long time from now. I think I'll always be playing catch-up with new games from Ryu ga Gotoku Studio.
