The Publisher is Gameworld. After Data Age's Bankruptcy, Gameworld gained the rights for all Data Age games and released them in Europe under the "Gameworld" brand. (They often did not change the program from NTSC to PAL but released the same NTSC cartridges with new labels on the EU market. This is why most Gameworld games have completely messed up colors. Only a few have been adjusted or modified) The box front still shows the Data Age logo, the back side of the box had been changed to show the description in 4 different languages. On the bottom of the back side it is stated on a sticker that "Data Age Video Games Now Owned And Distributed Exclusively By Gameworld". On the game cartridge the Data Age logo was replaced with the Gameworld logo. Fun Fact: The ID "DA1002" appears on all Gameworld cartridges that have been rebranded from Data Age. DA1002 is the Data Age ID from Warplock (Airlock was DA1004 and so on..) The first Gameworld release was Warplock, then they copy-and-pasted the cover for all other releases, including the Data Age ID. As they had their own numbering system, they left it on the game. So the Warplock ID is now shown on all Gameworld releases. |
