The first Battletoads game was released in 1991 and the beat 'em up genre was never the same. Frankly, we think Rash, Zitz and Pimple deserve their shot at HD glory (meaning more than just a cameo in Shovel Knight). After all, anyone who managed to get through that notoriously difficult masterpiece definitely deserved the title of Champion! Battletoads got its own animated pilot in 1992. It is not as fondly remembered as the game. |
