    Dein Game Boy wird gleich auf Eis gelegt!
    Das klassische Hockey-Spiel, Blades of Steel, fegt aus der NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) Verpackung und drückt Dich an die Banden. Von Anpfiff bis Abpfiff kämpfst Du gegen die flinkesten Hockey-Pucks, die je auf Video-Stahl gespielt wurden. Trotz des Eises gibt es hier viele Hitzköpfe. Also keine Ausrutscher, denn sonst brauchst Du bald Haftcreme!
    • Die Slash-O-Matic Action, die Du von den NES Hockeyspieler erwartest, wie z.B. überholen, decken, Tor-hüten und Ziel schießen.
    • Drei Schwierigkeitsgrade (Junior, College und Profi), fordern Dich heraus, entweder besser zu werden, oder es aufzugeben.
    • Du kannst zwischen acht Profi-Teams wählen: Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Montreal, New York, Edmonton, Minnesota und Toronto.
    • Strafzeiten und Kämpfe Mann-gegen-Mann (Zielschütze gegen Torwart) trennen die Gewinner von den Verlierern.
    • Wenn sich die Gemüter erhitzen, werden auch schon mal die Handschuhe abgenommen und die Fäuste ins Spiel gebracht.
    • Mit intensiven Trainings-Szenen wird Dein Können für das Ziel schießen, das Tor-hüten und das Spiel selbst in Form gebracht.
    • Mit dem Game Link -Kabel können zwei Spieler zusammen spielen. Sonst tritt ein einzelner Spieler gegen die Gewinnertafel im Computerchip an.
