Description: Developed by Shigeru Miyamoto after the release of Mario Bros. but before the release of Super Mario Bros., this game was never released in America because of religious imagery like the crosses and the Bible.

The gameplay is very much inspired by Pacman, having Tamagon eat dots to clear stages. Although he needs to carry a cross to be able to eat them. He can also breath fire on enemies while carrying a cross. The levels switch between two gameplay types. The first one is the one that is the most like Pac-Man with the dots and the second is another maze game, but here you need to collect four Bibles and bring them to the middle red square with a skull to fill up holes. Allows for 2-player co-operative play.

Nintendo seems to have ceased production of this game early, because it only seems to exist as an unmarked cartridge (i.e. it doesn't have a region code) with 5 philips head screws instead of 3 security screws. That's the cartridge design the earliest NES cartridges used. Early releases of Excitebike can also be found in these cartridges for example.
Box Text: Lost in the maze of Devil World, Tamagon the Dragon has to steer clear of the Devil, his nasty Co-Devils, and his treacherous helpers, Medaman, the Fried-Eggman and Bon-Bon, and ward off their attacks by breathing fire. After each round, the maze scrolls up, down, right, or left. The Devil decides the direction and points with his finger. As you guide Tamagon through the maze, you also have to avoid being sandwiched between the walls.
